2001 Jayco Qwest Slide out Operation

I have recently purchased a 2001 Jayco Qwest 270c. it has a Manual slide out that you actually push in and out, without a crank or anything. We figured out how to open it but now we cant get it closed. Does anyone have any experience with these that can help me out? or possible have a video of operating one of these?, Thank you

I'm pretty sure you'll find it's electric and the "manual" is the emergency way to open or close. Look near the bottom of the slide, my last one the motors were under the couch in the slide.

It is not electric this was a cheaper jayco model where the slide is physically pushed. I have made sure of this.

Never heard of a manual slide but then I don't know everything.
Contact Jayco for a manual, you will need the VIN to get the correct one

First you have to check if there is anything in the way above your cabinet where the brace is placed when it is in the traveling position. You said you figured out how to open it, it’s just the opposite to close it. Face the couch, standing close to the center, bend down, and now feel under the couch there are 2 levers that you have to squeeze together. This will release the lock, you will be able to feel it release. Pull in at the same time until the slide is flush with the wall. But make sure your brace that goes on top is out when you do this. We didn’t our first time. By the way the space under the couch, we were able to take the apron off and use as storage. We have the same camper as you

John, you also have to make sure the bottom lock is pulled to the middle of the couch before attempting to pull the couch/slide in.
