2005 31 BHS power problems

Hello everyone..what a great opportunity to learn more about our trailer. We recently purchased a very lightly used 2005 31 BHS from a friend. We love it. Zero problems to date but I do have a question about the power.
Whenever we plug into a 30amp breaker, zero problems. AC works great, slide comes out fine and everything works perfectly.
However, when we need to use a pigtail and plug into a 110amp socket all sorts of interesting things happen. Slide won't come out unless everything else is turned off and AC just won't work period.

Something we are doing wrong or should check?

Thanks,
Nick

Well if its just a standard 15 amp or 20 amp outlet its may not be rated enough to run your AC I cant use my AC pluged in when I am parked at home. But the slide is different I can run my slide in or out on just 12 volt not pluged in to shore power at all.

Sounds like 110 outlet doesn't provide enough power for what you are trying too. Is it a 15a or 20a circuit you are trying to use. I use my garage 20a circuit, can't run my 13500 AC on very hot days, cooler days it will but requires nothing else being powered on the circuit and nothing else running in the TT.

Sounds like you need a new battery and a new 30A to 15A adapter. Pick up an adapter at wally world or a camping store and you will be set. The slide runs on the 12V DC system so with a fully charged battery, the slide should work fine even unplugged from AC power.

Look for one of these:
