Should wish your tow vehicle was a Ford.... at least you have a Jayco...try searching the forums for your model number, may help. I have a 23k and info on the internet is hard to find other than a handfull of others to buy. A 29 should be easier to find info plus it's a Jay Flight(America's most pop. seller) rather than a Jay Feather, again easier. Good luck, happy travels and cheers from another new member.....disregard and wait for a 29 pro

The 28BHS and 29BHS are the same trailer, the 29 had a higher interior trim package and I believe covered underbody, otherwise they are the same trailer.

Welcome to the forum, Mullin! No recalls I`m aware of. It will just need the same TLC that all RV`s require. The 28/29BHS is one of Jayco`s best selling floorplans! Enjoy the trailer. BTW many of us had the leaking toilet problem, not unique to the 29BHS.

Welcome to the forum Mullen, it's a great resource. We owned a Jay Flight 27BH for several years and had no problems to speak of. Good routine care makes all the difference as I'm a firm believer in the saying,"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Hope you enjoy your TT and build many memories with your family.

Welcome to the JOF Dean! Contact Jayco direct and ask about recalls for your model year. If you can provide the VIN, they can also let you know if the tt shows up in the system as having any recalls completed.

Hey there. We have the g2 29 bhs 2010 model. I think the differences are that the g2 has elec awning, tv/DVD and speakers in and out, different window coverings, and some other cosmetic things. Our has the enclosed underbelly that someone me tiined above We bought for the floor plan and the slide. Love it so far. I have the original hand out of it so could pull up the documented differences. Nothing too major though. Enjoy the unit!

I have a 2011 G2 29BHS and I'm with Daxton most is cosmetic and some power equipment. However I am interested in your built in propane Gen set. Do you have pictures of the setup?

G2 also has a cover on the stove, comes with the tv already installed, and of course the stuff mentioned above. Can't remember if the non-G2 has sconses above the couch slide? G2 also has a motorized "Fantastic Fan". Basically minor options already included.

The 29BHS and the G2 designation are no more, as of the 2012 model year. Now you can order the 28BHS and any other Jayflight for that matter with a large choice of options and packages. That way you can order what you want, and leave out what you don`t.

I dont at the moment but it was in there when i bought it...its situated under the bed at the front of the unit...its very quiet..i was never a generator person but this unit when running you only start to notice the sound when you get within 50ft or so away...i am impressed...When I can I will take some pictures for you and show you...really not much to see but i will get them to ya within the week. Where wud you like me to send them??

Mullin if you just want to post them to the forum that would be cool other wise pm me for an email address. I have been trying to figure out how to mount the generator in the storage compartment without killing me and my family with carbon monoxide. I have an open storage compartment that has openings into the trailer itself.

here are the pics of the generator...not much to see...its insulated completely and the exhaust pipe is through the floor and run outside as you can kinda see out to the side of the trailer...there is a vent in front that you can gain a bit of access too...thats about all you really can see...sorry couldnt be more helpful...
