2010 Jayflight 24rks shallow slide

Hi Everyone:

New here, DW & I are first time wanna be rv'ers. Plan to look at a 2010 Jayflight 24rks. Looking at seller pics(dealer) the slide looks very shallow? Mebbe the sofa stays put, and shelving moves out? So I guess we could access the fridge & bath with this slide in? Sorry for the newb questions. Thanks for your time.

I have a 2007 25RKS and the it has the smaller slide out. It slides out about 15 inches versus the larger slide out that go out about 32 inches.
The couch does slide out, but the fridge and the wardrobe do not slide out. Only the couch is on the slide out.
The little room it gains sure makes a difference. We purchased our 25RKS and brand new and have very few issues or problems.
Good Luck with your search and hopefully you will become a Jayco owner!!!

We have a 2011 24 RKS and yes it is a sofa slide, the sofa and cabinets above slide out. It's actually pretty surprising how much difference that small slide makes in available room inside. One of the things we liked was that everything in the TT is completely accessible and usable with the slide in. We really like the awesome amount of storage space this floorplan gives you inside. We are very happy with our purchase.
Good luck

Many thanks for your replies! Took a look at the unit at a local dealer, even the original owners left their Equailizer, as they moved up to a 5'er in their trade in. Not sure if this would work in a FT situation. But I also liked you can access the fridge or bath with shallow slide in.
Also would have liked insulated underbelly, but dealer said that could be added. Thanks again!!
