2011 25BHS Poor Stove Controls

Hello group
Well the season is over for us, and the trailer is in the shop getting little stuff fixed before storage. My question is this, my stove controls are not very good, if I put the flame control to 10 (max) flame is good, #1 or low is also good, anywhere else it appears to be full heat. In other words when I start at Max setting, and begin to turn the flame down, the flame doesn't change at all until I get to about 3 or 4. What's more weird is that of the 3 burners, 2 do this, the other one works ok. My old faithful 2009 26BH didn't do this, it had what I would consider proper flame control.
Dealer say this is normal??? I have my doubts.
Anyone shed any light on this, do you have this problem as well, or is it just mine! I would think any 2011 Jayflight model would be a similar stove.
Looking for any input or help
Thanks

We have a 2011 Jayco 5th wheel and all of the burners on the range work fine and have a full range of flame control. The oven works great as well.

We have the Atwood range on our new rig. Full control on the gas valves on all levels. Much improved over the gas controls on our old 04 rig.

I also have an Atwood that works fine. It sounds like you may have a problem with yours, not what I would consider normal.

Mine is not super, but better than what you describe. I would ask the dealer to check your gas pressure. Possible your regulator is not set properly?

Stove controls

Thanks everyone for your input, now I know I'm not crazy or that this is NOT "normal" as the dealer has suggested.
I will have to call Jayco I guess.
Thanks again

No it is not normal and should be fixed... since you are also winterizing here is an often missed tip... turn on the stove and fridge on propane then go outside and turn the tanks off... go back inside and once the flames have died out turn off the appliance.. this will drain the lines of propane as over the years you can end up with goo in the lines from the additives in the propane.
