Nice video thanks for putting that together, looking good. The axel flip, was that a DIY or bought kit? Cant use one on my TT but thinking of rasing my utility trailer which is a spring under axel configuration. thanks.

Thanks for the video. I have a 184BH and I have not dont much yet. I plan on strange ing the back bumper and adding a bicycle rack. I bought a Champion 2000 watt inverter generator (very quiet) for $399. I plan on making a ladder for the top bunk this year. I don't know how long the door knob will last with my 5 year old using it as a step. I did a lot of modifications to my previous camper, but I just have not started on this one yet.

I love your axel flip. Did you do that yourself? Can you help get me stated on a parts list for that? Why did you change the tires? Did you not trust the new OEM ones?

Great mods and upgrades...especially the Pepsi bottle opener...may have to explain what it is to the younger generation.

For the axle flip you need http://www.easternmarine.com/dexter-...kit-k71-384-00 . This will give you about 4 1/2 more inches of clearance.
I changed the rims and tires http://www.easternmarine.com/goodyea...inted-rim-lr-c because of stories of blow outs with the stock tires and i wanted all the ground clearance i could get also.........Once i did the axle flip and upgraded tires i had to buy a extra step. http://www.amazon.com/Camco-43675-Fo...ywords=rv+step This works perfect. I hope this helped.

My dad used to work for Pepsi cola in the 60s and he give my a lot of old pepsi cola items. I thought this would be cool to put in our camper.

I bought the kit from Trailer Parts Superstore on the internet. It installed with no problems and no welding required.

What did the axle flip do for towing stability? Any changes there good or bad?

I have a 154BH and the axel flip is genious...it solves every complaint I have with my TT. 1) I couldnt use the septic hook-up at several campsites 2) my load distibution gear has low ground clearance (I pull mine with a passenger car) and I bottom out frequently. How many inches did the axel flip raise the axel / trailer tongue? Did you have to change out the steps? - Brian

Do U know if the 14 inch tires would have clearance without the axle flip?

We were picking up our 2013 154BH last week and decided to leave if and have the dealer install the axel flip. They're also installing two Camco vent covers. The covers I could have done myself but figured they had it so go ahead. I'll let you know the total clearance from the lowest point when we get it back this week.

Is the axle flip still working out ok for you? I ordered my flip kit from the link above a few minutes ago.

I'm an avid camper, but this is my first TT.

The axel flip is great. Don't have before and after stories because we had it done before we took delivery. The steps are a bit higher but not difficult. We totally love our trailer and have had fun outfitting both inside and outside.

Did you make the screen door grill yourself? I had to stop my dogs from scratching the screen already and I'm afraid they are going to put a claw through it!

I'm wondering the same thing. I have 2 small dogs and a lab. They have destroyed those baby gates you can get for your house.
