Angry 2013 Jayco Bungalow 40 FER Slide

My 40 FER is on a seasonal site. I just went to open it up for the season. The power at the site is not on yet so I took the fully charger battery and installed it back into the unit. I wanted to open the slides and the bedroom slide opened fine but the large living room/kitchen slide would only extend out about six inches on the bottom and stop. The top of the slide would not move at all and acts like it is glued at the top. I live in Michigan and we had a brutal winter. It was below freezing when I was there this morning. Is it possible the top seal is frozen to the unit? I did not have a ladder with me to take a closer look. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

I would try it again when the temp has been above freezing for a few days. You don't want to try it again and maybe chancing ripping the top seal. When it does open up I would check the top seal and hopefully no damage was done to it. Maybe some water got between the seal and top of the slide and that's what is holding it. Good luck.

I would say its definitely frozen to the trailer and hopefully you didn't cause any damage by trying to open it. We use our trailer all winter and I noticed my 1st trip that everyone had their slides open. I asked someone if there was a reason and was give the seal freezing to the trailer and not being able to open it as the answer. Good luck!
