2014 jayco flight 22fb?????????

hello all I am new to the Jayco series and I havnt pulled the trigger yet, I am close, I am thinking of buying this model and I havnt learned everything about it yet, I was wondering if these Jayco TT have a 12 volt battery system for the fridge and lights??? other brands I have looked at have this feature, but I wasn't sure if Jayco has it?? if anyone has any info on this model that would be great. thank you

My 2012 fridge runs on 120v or propane, lights on 12/120v. I'm not sure about the 2014. You could check Jayco website and look at that model then check specs. Good luck! BTW, we absolutely love our 22' TT!!!!

Yes the 22FB has a 12v system, the battery(ies) however don't come from the factory but rather the dealer. There are many different batteries and combinations of batteries available.

The 12v system powers lots of things in the TT. Most lighting will be 12v, furnace, fridge can run on 120VAC or 12VDC + Propane, water heater is the same as the fridge.

The fridge won't operate on 12VDC only like what might be found in some PUP trailers.

Yes, all the Jay Flight models have a 120V AC and 12V DC electrical system.

The lights are 12V and can run off the battery when boondocking, or off 120v shore power (converter/charger converts 120V AC to 12V DC where applicable).

As mentioned the frig will operate on 120V AC shore power or LP, but in both cases it requires 12v DC power (battery) to operate the frig's circuit board/light.

The Jay Flight frig will not operate solely on 12V DC battery power.

We have a Starcraft 235fb, which is a twin to the Jayco 22fb (Jayco owns Starcraft). We have had it for three years and it is a great little travel trailer. There are only the wife and I and it is great for us. Simple, no slides, easy to tow, enough room, and ample storage. We really appreciate the 90 gallon fresh water storage capacity. It would be nice if the gray and black tanks were a bit larger, but we adjust to it.

We've had our 2012 22FB for 1 1/2 years and it is the perfect fit for us. So glad we chose Jayco.

We bought a 2013 22FB last June. We spent about 2 months in it while driving more than 4,000 miles last summer. It was a very nice trip with absolutely no problems with the trailer. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.
