2015 Jayco 28' jayflight BHBE

I just purchased my second Jayco 28' BHBE because they're the best built RV, but I do have a question? does anybody know where the main junction box is to install an in-line power surge protector? and if I need to have it installed is it expensive?

The junction box on my 2015 Eagle 28BHBE is under the rear bottom bed. It is super easy to get to.

Same as gcloss pretty much, but no junction box on ours. Just comes in from the Furion inlet and goes through the floor, then back up to the distribution panel in the kitchen. We just disconnected the #6 wires from the Furion power inlet, wired those directly to the PI EMS, then added a section of #6 wires from the EMS to Furion. Did it this way where I can easily remove and put back original if we sell. Put the remote display in the bathroom where we can easily see it from the outside bathroom door (prior to turning on main breaker) once hooked up to shore power.

I just see that you are from Long Island. Did you happen to purchase your Jayco from WES Trailer Sales on Long Island? If you did you are in luck ... they are a great bunch of guys who will take care of you when and if needed. I've been dealing with them for years.

Ours was located behind the hot water tank. Crawl under the lower bunk and remove the wood guard around the tank. You will see the box. Just take the box out of the connection, but the MGMT system in line and you are good to go. Didn't think of throwing the main breaker and turning on after knowing the campground electric is good! Great idea

I bought my 2007 Jayco Jayflight from Chris G. great guy. Five years later he took it on consignment and got me some good money for it.

Back in 2012, I was taking my 2009 Jayco Eagle to WES for some maintenance work. I was about 1 mile west of them on Middle Country Road (25) when a wrong way driver just missed my truck and hit my trailer.

The damage to my Eagle was $4200. They worked with the insurance company and did the repairs. Chris W and Kenny did an outstanding job repairing the damage. When they were done the trailer looked like it just came out of the factory.
