2016 Eagle 284BHBE has finally arrived!!!

I'll post some photos later (after I take them)!

Took a full 8 weeks to get my order in. Went through it today with the help of a PDI checklist I found on this site and it was quite helpful.

The water didn't work, they had left a valve open that was bringing air into the system. Quickly resolved.

The furnace didn't work. They actually had to pull the furnace out of another new trailer and put it into mine. Took them about an hour (I made it clear no papers would be signed until everything was ready to go).

I had intended to drive the trailer home 2 miles from the dealer on a standard hitch ball so I could install my Propride 3P hitch in the comfort of my own driveway. The dealer (CW) didn't want me to to that, so they offered to deliver it to my house, and they did in a very timely fashion.

Overall, it's a great trailer, and my experience with Camping World was actually quite positive. Took about 3 hours total to get the PDI and repairs done, spent the last 5 hours getting the Propride 3P hitch installed (not done yet... and it's dark... and I have to work tomorrow. Going to be a long evening!!!

Can't wait to take it out this weekend.

Congrads on the new rig. Will be watching your threads to see what mods you do. I know you won't leave it completely stock. I've got a couple threads going with several things we've done to that model, and I think some others do to.

Congrats on the Trailer. Make sure take it out soon and run through all the systems. Wife and I just took delivery on a 2016 Jayco 33 RSKS and despite some minor items that have and will need to be fixed we really like it. Now enjoy and all the best!

More of a fix than a mod. Almost finished with this:
