2016 Jay Flight 27BHS Awning
I'm looking at the 27BHS, and I'm seeing a discrepancy in the awning location. Jayco.com shows the diagram and photo with the awning not covering the outside kitchen, but any photos of units for sale at dealers show the awning moved rearward covering the outside kitchen. I've been asking around and nobody seems to know which way it would come if I order a TT. Anyone have a 27BHS that knows about this?

I am almost 100% positive that it covers the outside kitchen. If you look on youtube you can clearly see the arm extend over it. I saw one in person but did not extend it. Mine is on order and I will have it in a few weeks. Just curious is that a deal breaker for you if it does not cover it? The layout is very nice, 80" queen and very roomy with the bunks and open floor plan.

Thanks for the responses. It's not a deal breaker, but I would very much prefer it be covered since the outside kitchen is where I'd do most of my cooking. If it ended up not being covered for some reason, I want to know so I can request it be built with it covered.

Turns out General RV near me has a 27BHS in stock that has the options I want. I'm going to see it tomorrow. I'll let let you know where the awning is.

Just looked at the 27BHS here and it has the awning covering the outside kitchen area.

Nice!!!! Wish the awning on our 32 covered the ok, but our ok door is larger though which does help.
So, are you new owners of the 27 yet???

Very nice! Looks like that one may have the elite package? I see the ladder on the back, and also aluminum rims? I know the rims are an added option so that one must be decked out. What are they asking for it?

It is. Not sure what their asking was, but I got it for under $20k.
Jayco rep got back to me and said they will be updating their website specs. What's on there is from their prototype.

Nice price, I got mine around 21,000 with the Elite package, thermal package, but no rims. Also added the Hide-a-bed. Sounds like you got a great deal!

Thanks. I got Elite, Thermal, TV, Rims, Hide-a-bed, and Bumper grill.
I got a quote for a custom build and it was more. Because this one was in stock, I got a better deal.
