2017 Jay Flight 32RB Accident

Looking for some info - my kids have a new Jay Flight 32RB and were involved in a wreck, someone pulled out in front of them. They T-boned another truck hard enough to tear the trailers toilet from the floor. They were wondering how to go about evaluating damage to the trailer. How easily is the frame damaged? Has anyone had experience with a trailer involved in an accident? I want them to have the trailer totaled and start over.

Sorry to hear this. I sure hope that everyone came out of it ok.

If it's a new trailer then see if the dealer can assist.

Good luck to them.

Sorry about the misfortune.

Unless the trailer decoupled or was hit, it won't have frame damage.

Check to see if any of the entry doors or internal doors close or open hard. That could be a sign of "racking," where the coach moves independent of the trailer frame. I can imagine stick and tin trailers are slightly more susceptible to racking than filon sided rigs.
