2018 JayFlight 32BHDS Specs

Just took delivery of TT from Virginia RV Outlet and had it delivered to NY....

2018 32BHDS
Customer Sat Package
Elite Package

No one walked me around the TT showing me what things do and how thing work...

I have a few questions:
What are the capacities of the GRAY and BLACK tanks?

I got the elite package where they add another 40 Gal fresh water tank giving me 80 gallons total.

I don't think I have two gray water tanks but at the command panel I have two check level buttons...GRAY TANK 1 and GRAY TANK 2 ???

Can someone who knows please let me know?

Also there are two john guest valves [white] on the door side of the TT, right under the fresh water LOW POINTS [blue and red]....also are those blue and red COLD and HOT?

Help?!

Gray and black are likely 32 and 32. You might have a second gray, but those are typically used on washer prepped units. My rear kitchen sink flows to the black tank.

I don't know what a "John guest" valve is.

But under the fridge the low point plunger style drains are accessed from the inside of the coach, for both cold and hot water. On the outside would be the fresh water tank drains, near the front entry door.

We just picked up a 2017 32BHDS a couple of weeks ago.

The two white drains on the curb side are the fresh water tank drain. The Red and Blue are the plumbing drains for winterizing.

I am trying to confirm with Jayco, but I think that the outdoor kitchen has it's own 8 gallon gray tank with it's own valve near the back bumper (we haven't used it yet to confirm). The main gray (kitchen/bath) and black are 32.5 gallon each with the drain behind the wheels.

2016 and older sent the rear outside kitchen sink to the black tank. A drain line would have had to been on the deck in the bathroom to drain to the main grey.

Can you please advise if this in fact the case?

I haven't heard back from Jayco yet. My TT is stored about 30 mins away and I haven't had a chance or reason to head up there in the past couple of days. Will let you know when I know...

I made a quick stop by my trailer today - it is a 2017 32BHDS with Elite pkg.

I didn't have any water to test, but sure looks like my outdoor kitchen has its own tank.

My grey lines from the kitchen sink, tub, and bathroom sink are all plumbed together and go to the main grey tank through the bottom of the pantry cabinet to the right of the fridge - the black pvc sits on the floor within the cabinets. That photo is sideways for some reason. The main grey valve on the outside of the trailer is in front of the wheels, and the black valve and drain cap are to the rear of the wheels. I am assuming that the throne drops directly into the black tank.

The outdoor kitchen sink drain travels towards the rear of the TT under the drawer with a vent on the rear wall of the trailer. It then makes a turn inward through the trailer frame. There is a separate gate valve at the back drivers side of the TT to the rear of the stabilizer. I didn't have any water available to pour down the drain to confirm. The two photos with the drawer removed drawer show that plumbing.

I did not want to start pulling or poking at the enclosed underbelly to confirm location or size of tanks...hopefully Jayco will get back to me this week.

Ok upon further inspection I do have a third valve that controls the main gray tank. The other gray tank valve i believe is for the outdoor sink.

So is the gray tank at the rear of the TT just for the kitchen sink?

Pretty sure it is. We did two nights in the trailer when we picked it up but did not use the outdoor kitchen sink. When we left the campsite, we dumped the main grey and the black through the main drain valve (closest to the wheels) as we had used the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower, and toilet.

Did not pull the rear as I had assumed it was only outdoor kitchen.

When I was at the trailer this past weekend, I did pull the rear valve closest to the rear bumper (with a bucket underneath) and it was dry.

Still waiting for confirmation on sizing from Jayco...

The literature I got from the dealer with my '17 was 32.5/32.5/8 for black/grey/grey. My 8 gal is holding for the outdoor sink.

TommyAjax, I have the same trailer but only have 1 dump. I'm wondering why you have an additional for the Grey at the rear?! Could it have anything to do with my electric stabilizers? You must have a later run, because it also appears that your city water is offset from the furnace exhaust (You're lucky!). Mine is directly in line above/below.
