Has anybody noticed how close the front axle is to the drain hub of the black tank? There is less than 1 inch of clearance when the trailer is level. I'm already seeing signs that the axle is hitting the tank when the trailer is being towed. Will this eventualy crack the tank?
Looking at mine as wel.Might have been a deal breaker when I bought unit.Wonder if thats why there is a baja. Its way to close. Think I will flip axles and then redrill hangers closer to frame. As I do not want to sit 4" higher. But 2" would be nice and my hitch would still work with out a new shank.
Now you have me worried. Here is a photo of mine! I have a 2017 SLX 212QBW.
I have never had a problem, but now that I see this, I am worried if this is something, that needs to be tended to or if the designer knew what he was doing placing these so close to each other?
Has This ever presented a problem on Jayco trailers?
Ours is a 2016 Jayco SLX 212 QBW and it appears to be the same problem!
Has it caused anyone problems?
Am I worried about something I don’t need to worry about?
Has Jayco reassured anyone that this will not be a problem?
Thanks for any answers!
Lynn

😁 "If a man says he’ll fix something, he will. There’s no need to remind him every 6 months.
Well, we just bought the Ricky mountain Baja edition last month. I'll take a look underneath this weekend, but with the underbelly enclosed in not sure what I can see. They did say the suspension was flipped to provide more ground clearance.
