I was a little surprised when I weighed the tongue of our new 27RLS. With propane, battery and our gear we at about 7500 lbs and the tongue weight is 1050-1100 lbs. So we are at about 14-14.7% on the tongue. When you look at where the weight is going it is not so surprising. The brochure for the 27RLS had empty weight of 6030 and tongue weight of 695 (11.5%). Add 150 lbs or so for the battery and two full propane tanks, which sits almost all on the tongue and you have 6160 with a tongue of ~845 (13.7%). Thats with no options or gear added. Our yellow sticker weight was 6930, so the options alone added 900 lbs, some of which will also add to the tongue weight. Adds up fast and is why I switched from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton truck. Your 26RLS has similar weights, a little lighter empty weight but a little heavier tongue weight before you add propane, battery and options.
