28DSBH and Infiniti QX56

Hello:

You guys have a great forum here! Thank you for all the great info. I am starting my research and
I am very interested on the 28DSBH or possibly the 31DSLB (leaning for the 28DSBH). My TV is a 2012 Infiniti QX56.

Could you please provide feedback if my TV can handle any of these trailers?. Family of 4, 2 kids (5 and 8). Thank you in advance.

Start by loading the family and heading to the scale. Before any thoughtful analysis can be offered actual loaded TV weights are required.

Also, if the TT you are looking at is on the dealer lots, check the yellow sticker for actual ship weight.

Published weights for both TT and TV are notoriously inaccurate. Often only consider base models.

FYI, our 2014 White Hawk 28dsbh dry weight (according to yellow sticker) is 5,942 lbs. Options we got were the 15k ac, power awning, tongue, and stabilizers, and glacier package. I passed on the sleeper sofa because I figured if we couldn't fit everyone on the bunks and dinette, then there would be too many people to be comfortable, and I also passed on the bumper mounted grill. Those two, and the table and chairs, are the only options we didn't select when ordering, I suppose those would have pushed our weight up a little more.
