298RES Eagle Superlite - Slide Question

Hi, we just ordered a 2012 Superlite 298RES (now renamed 298RLDS I was informed by the dealer, yet not on Jayco's Web site). Do those of you who own this model have to move the two recliners around before bringing it the slide that they sit on?

Thanks,

Mike

We have had ours for 3 weeks, and have went camping the last two weekends. No, you do not have to move the recliners. Enjoy the camper, its wonderful and pulls like a dream.

Thumbs up

I love my 298res. No, I leave them in place. When traveling I move them against the wall to keep them from moving. Hope you enjoy the camper as much as my ********** and I do!!!

Great, thanks. Glad you like yours. We wanted to stay w/ Jayco after looking at others and really liked this model. Just out of curiosity, what hitch are you pulling yours with?

Thx,

Mike

We got our 298RES in April this year. I have not had any issues with the 2 chairs they stay put. No need to tie down. This is one SWEET trailer!
