29rlds...

Just bought our first Jayco this past month. Love the unit...except for making that darn bed...the closets make it virtually impossible..anyone else struggling with this or have any tips besides not making it? lol

I have noticed that I can push the bed to one side a bit to tuck in the comforter.. then do the same on side two.. it helps a bit.
I have also turned the bed covers down past the cupboards.. so it looks like a hotel bed..

I end up lifting the mattress up to get the top corners..lol..I was thinking also of taking some type material and wrapping the board the mattress sits on maybe stapling it to the back of that board...seems like Iam always getting a sliver or something from it...anybody done this?

Memory foam makes it easier

We have memory foam on top of the mattress which is better than any pillow top mattress we've had. The bonus is that we fit the sheets and blankets around the foam rather than the mattress which makes making the bed much easier as the foam can be maneuvered somewhat.
This keeps you right away from the plywood as well.

We had that problem when we first got the trailer. We put a topper on and the fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the mattress. So, we purchased extra deep pocketed sheets and now do not have that problem anymore. They were a little pricey but well worth my piece of mind.

Where would one purchase a memory foam top, that sounds like exactly what we need, I really dislike the standard TT matress.

I bought mine at Overstock.com.

We bought the 4" Serta many years ago. Still going strong.

Order the closest size and cut to fit as needed.

We bought ours at Zellers in Canada (just bought out by Target). The Queen size was regular $200, but on sale for $100. As mentioned, we cut slightly to fit.

You can also try Costco or Sams Club. Costco seems to put the one they carry on sale every couple of months too.
