2nd Air Conditioner

I'm working toward the purchase of an Eagle 324BTS, and I'm considering purchasing the 2nd A/C in the build. Does anyone know if the 2nd A/C that is installed in the front bedroom is connected to the other A/C duct work as in the 5th wheels or does it just blow down into the bedroom? Thanks for your help.

Good question! I don't know the answer to this but you could always ask them, they should of course have that answer. Me, I would do it anyway if it were an option, it would still help a lot. I just posted a similar comment in the general forum. Two AC units when you need them sure would be nice.

Yeah - The front A/C is connected to the duct work in a 5th wheel. My potential dealer said not in a travel trailer, and I'm not sure I believe that. Anyone know for sure?

Looks like the Jayco trailers are stand alone 2nd. A.C.'s. Was at the plant in Nov. checking out the new 328RLTS and if we ordered with 2nd Air it would be stand alone (not connected) and the controls are on the unit itself (not on the wall). After having our 2007 Eagle 322FKS these 6 years our next trailer will have 50 Amp with 2nd A.C.. Especially in a trailer over 30 feet long.
Happy trails,
