30 amp power cord 33 bhts

I have a 2013 bhts jayflight camped in one time. I noticed when retracting the power cord it is extremely difficult to put all the cord in the camper. After investigating I noticed the plywood made box that houses the cord is very narrow and in my opinion is way too small. I wanted to customize it but there is no quick or easy way to do this. I pulled some of the extra cord inside the camper toward the converter. To get to this area you have to take out the bottom drawer in the kids bunk area. You should see the mess of wiring under the drawer ,I could not believe this would pass any type of electrical code. I was wondering if anybody else had a 33 bhts and had a similar problem with retracting their power cord or saw this complete mess of wiring.

In respect to the 30amp shore power cord...; pull the cord all the way out of the TT, then as you are feeding the cord back in keep turning the cord clockwise into the TT...., when you remove the cord turn it counterclockwise as you pull it out.

I spray silicone on a rag and wipe the cord as I push it into the compartment. I do this a few times a year and it helps the cord slide in and out easily.

Same floorplan but I own the Eagle version. The Eagle has the detachable marine cord, that would be your best bet. And yes, I noted the same rats nest of wires under the bottom drawer in the bunk room.
