32IBTS Ordered
We ordered a 32IBTS with nearly all the options last week. We were hoping to have it by the end of the year but Jayco says they won't build that floor plan again until January 23rd so we'll probably see it in February.
We were set on the 28BHBE until my wife spotted a floor plan with an island...
I've only seen one other person mention this floor plan on the forum but is there anyone else out there with one???
The swap from the 28BHBE to the 32IBTS also scored me an upgrade from a '14 Silverado 1500 to a '14 Ram 2500 Cummins... I've never owned a Chrysler product before but I see lots of fans of the Ram on here...
Now for the loooooong wait...

I hope someone has this model, I would like to order in February to have it by April. I love the island, I also like the 33BHTS but they don't make that model anymore.

Jayco confirmed today that we're on schedule for a build completion of January 16th which should put it here in Dallas sometime towards the end of January depending on weather.
We ordered this one in mid November and the next build date wasn't until this month so if this is a model you're wanting to order you might want to find out the next build date for this model if you have a particular delivery timeframe in mind.
Time to book some sites....

Our 32 IBTS arrived late yesterday. I was able to take a look at it this afternoon and will take delivery next Thursday. Everything looked good and came in as we ordered minus the receiver hitch missing. We added it after the original order was submitted but Jayco and the dealer have already sorted it out and will add it after Jayco ships them the part.
I'm still not sure about towing a 36' travel trailer but I'm sure it'll be fine after some adjustment. We really liked the island and the bunk room and with that comes the extra length.

Just get a good WDH and you'll be happy campers.

We ordered a 1,400 lbs equal-I-zer which seems to be a decent choice. Hopefully that will keep things under control. The dealer suggested a 1,200 lbs one but my math and the hitch manufacturer said 1,400. The yellow tag on the trailer says 8,865 with a GVWR of 10,500.

We were dead set on the BHBE also but went with the 32BHDS and love it. Wise choice on the 1400# hitch. The tongue weight on ours is 1350# with hardly anything in it at all, which is roughly 15%, and our campers are very similar.
I had to upgrade from 1200# Reese spring bars to 1500# bars after the first trip out and weighing it.

Thank you! I really debated the aluminum vs fiberglass issue. I normally go function over style but I couldn't stand the look of this trailer in aluminum with the huge outdoor kitchen door being fiberglass. It really looked odd.
It's a great looking trailer in fiberglass as long as I don't find any bubbles...

The only downside to this model is that there isn't a window on the left side of the trailer. My site has a great view on that side, now my view is someone else's trailer but most that size don't have a very big window anyways.

I agree... that was my biggest complaint with that floorplan. Some other manufacturers had plans with one but there were bigger issues with them. I have thought about swapping out the frosted window in the door for a clear one and then hanging a small blind.

The switch to black trim does look awesome. Of course they do that as soon as we bought ours!

I agree that fiberglass looks better but I ordered the aluminum just to be safe. I know I will wish I had the fiberglass though!

Im going to buy this model as well. The ONLY downsides I can see is: no window on the "doors" side, a curtain (as opposed to a real door) between kids bunk area and kitchen area, and so-so cabinet space. I love the island, the kitchen layout, the double doors, the exterior kitchen, and the bunk area is amazing. Perfect for kids. I plan on parking the trailer at an annual use campsite and just leaving it there year round.
