360 Siphon Vent Cover

Does anyone have any experience with the 360 Siphon waste tank vent cover? It seems to get pretty favorable reviews. I just got home from a trip to FL where temps were in the mid to low 90's. We have never had issues with smell from the black tank, but this time.....well we'll just say it wasn't pleasant. I had plenty of water in the tank, didn't flush until at lease 3/4 full, using pure power chemical, and no exhaust fan. It only has a 9 gal black tank so it gets flushed pretty often. I think something like this might help, and I'm thinking of pulling the vent cap anyway just to make sure the pipe isn't clogged.
