751 Locks

Hello. I am interested in changing out my standard "751" locks to cam locks on my 2011 Jayco 26BH. I want to change out the locks on the 3 exterior storage doors. The only problem is, I don't know what size they are and it's rough to get to my trailer at the indoor storage place. Not to mention is 150,000 degrees here in the Sacramento Valley right now, so going into a hot storage warehouse doesn't appeal to me.

Does anyone happen to know which size I should order??

Thanks in advance.

Hello to you. Welcome to the forum.

This topic has been discussed from time to time. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with info on these locks.

(BTW, it's too hot here in AZ, too.)

Changing out the "751" locks is a great idea. We changed our out on our Melbourne 24L, even in the heat here in Nevada. It is really simple and quick to do. Here is a link to help you identify what size you need (https://rvmusthaves.com/ch751-es201-rv-key-warning/).

Adding on to the post, our locks were 1 1/8". Recommend you take one apart and measure it as shown in the above link. It took less than two minutes to do this.

I swapped mine on my 28BHBE, my FIL on his Redhawk, and my BIL on his Four Wins and they were all 7/8 inch if I remember correctly except for the outside shower locks. They were a different length.
