89 2150 travel trailer vin troubles

I just bought a 89 2150 express trailer over the Weekend and I can't seem to find the vin #. I looked all over the tongue and took a wire wheel to and can't find it. Is there another place to look?

If you got a title with it, wouldn't it be on that?

Yes, but it is an out of state title so I have to have it inspected the the state patrol

Check the tongue frame just as it crosses the front of the cabin. It could bes stamped into the frame in a place protected from the weather.

It is also possible that the ID plate that was pop-riveted on 16 years ago has fallen off.
