A/C Failed on First Use

We turned on the A/C on our Jay Feather X213 that we bought last September for the first time Saturday after arriving at our campground for the week and got no cold air. Towed the TT to the nearest Jayco dealer on Tuesday and after testing they said the compressor was running, but not cooling. They call Coleman and got authorization to replace it. Thanks to Larry's Trailer Sales in Ziegler, IL we had A/C the rest of the week.

You are very fortunate. We had the same experience with a band new unit. Our air conditioning crashed in Hot Springs Arkansas during a heat wave of temps of 120. No dealer for miles had a replacement unit in stock. Even though we had "Warranty", we had to move to expensive hotels for the rest of our vacation.

Sure like to hear of great dealer service. I have had nothing but good experiences also!

We bought a new 1998 Jayco 5er from Larry's in 1997. Gave us the best deal/cash price of the many dealers we went to. They also kept us informed of the building process from Jayco while it was being built. Excellent dealer!
