It looks good, but be sure and keep your feet out of the drop zone.

I actually bought one of these, and it makes the Equalizer hitch MUCH easier to handle. (No, I'm not impaired in any way.) One handed to slide in or out of the truck, and one hand carry into the garage. It is very well balanced, and haven't garfed the ball yet. I had a discount coupon for $10 off, and there are not many neat gadgets left to buy, so what the heck. Just my .02 worth, I'll be quiet now............

Whatever it takes to keep me camping.
As you get older you become aware of the ever increasing limitations that no amount of exercise can fix.

Seems like a good concept. I am always dreading moving my Husky centerline hitch out of the storage hold and putting it on the truck. Also the fact that I have fractured 4 vertebrae and my femur last year I may just have to look into one of these.

I don't have it yet, but I like it, and probably will get it, or build one. Got to mess with one when they first came out, and it definitely makes it easier and more balanced. For those that don't have any challenges picking up stuff, or doing certain physically demanding things, congrads, and I hope you stay that way. 20 years offshore, 2 hernias, a knee surgery when I get home, and a back that's weaker by the year, and **** yes, if there is an easier way, I will find it, or build it, or buy it or whatever it takes to keep me in the RV lifestyle.

Thanks JFlightRisk! I abbreviated your comments but I think I'll buy one after you said it makes things easier (Other members positive comments helped sway me too). I do have a bad back and it's always a challenge to lift the hitch on & off the TV along with some other tasks involved with a TT. Like norty1 wrote and others alluded to, "Whatever it takes to keep me camping." Also thanks to norty1 for the post about this tool.
JFlightRisk, can you share where you found a coupon for it? Just curious.

Can't be that silly. Of the five people who rated it so far, everyone rated it a 5.

Honestly the price isn't bad and it sure seems to work. Is it NECCESSARY... probably not. But it sure seems to be a fair price for a smart innovative tool.
Personally I use a glove on one hand. I usually install the hitch before we leave for vacation and leave it on the entire trip and take it off again when I get back. For people that want or need another option, this seems like a good product at a fair price.

Not only does my dealer sell them... They use them! On several ocassions I have seen them moving hitches inside the shop/store using this tool.
I lifted their demo out of curiosity and found it very well balanced and definetly made moving the Equalizer around much easier.
I don't need one anymore as the MH does not need a WDH, but I certainly see the benefits.

That's actually a really good idea in a commercial shop setting like that. Less chance someone lifts wrong and hurts their back, less employee down time, less worker's comp claims, better productivity all around. WELL worth the price of admission.
