Above counter switch in jayflight 33RLDS

We just spent our first weekend in our new to us 2012 33rlds. We just love love this trailer. I do have a question above the counter under the cupboards is a switch (left of sink) one side says fireplace the other side I think says water heater (not sure).. I know the fireplace side turns the fireplace off and the remote does not work but what is the other side for.

Well I searched some more on the forum and found out that it switches back and forth between the electric water heater and the fireplace. So its either or, not both

Yep the switch is either for the Fireplace or the Hot water heater. When it is in the hot water mode you still have to turn on either the gas or the electric for the water heater to work. When in Fireplace mode you can turn on the gas switch and it will heat the water.

If your trailer had 50 amp service you could use both at the same time.
