AC Dripping

28RKS, 1 yr old. When AC shuts off AC drips. Water is draining off the roof so I don't believe the drain is plugged.
Thoughts ? Thanks

Did you mean drips? If so it should drip off the roof

Yes I mean dripping inside the coach. It is dripping off the roof as well.

You could be frosting up on the inside and thawing from a clogged air filter.

Also just because it's dripping outside does not mean the pan is clean. It could be overflowing the edge and some is coming inside. The holes are only about an 1/8 big, so any pollen or dirt will impede flow.

Most likely your evaporator is somewhat plugged up with dust and it's causing the system to freeze up. This will cause dropping inside. If you remove the filter and look up inside the air return you should see the vertical fins. If they looked dirty you can use something as simple as an old toothbrush and water to clean them out. Be gentle so as not to bend the fins. Not only will this stop the dripping but you'll probably notice your A/C blows much harder and is Collins more efficiently. I had this problem recently and this was the necessary maintenance that completely fixed the problem.

You might also check AC mounting bolts on inside of TT. They are noted for loosening. Drainage on roof that is normal, could be getting by your foam seal?

Evaporator coil needs cleaning

Spray the evaporator - the coil above the filter with 409 cleaner. Oil is used in the process of building the coils and is rarely cleaned off. The water beads up and falls off the coil. The degreasing 409 removes the oil and allows the water to stream off. Smoke from cooking oils cause the same issue.

One simple thing to check is your filter. I replaced the filter material one year and have to vacuum it out every year. This has made several leaks go away.
