Advice please! 2015 23mbh

Hi.....the wife and I just pulled the trigger on a new 23mbh. It was somewhat spontaneous as we were were set for past 6 months on a Jayco x23b hybrid. In negotiations for that we stumbled upon the 23mbh and totally fell in love with it. Think we worked out a decent deal at 19995. I am in So California so we pay more anyway.

Thoughts on this unit? Did we make an ok choice. We put a deposit down and am going to finalize bank loan on Monday.

The layout works well for us as it is a versatile layout in a short box. Curious to see feedback

We also tried to make a deal on one the lowest the dealer would go was $2790.00 so I think you are getting a great deal!! We ended up getting a Starcraft 56bhs for around $2000.00. We loved the Jayco but not that much to justify the difference.

very nice unit...we too looked at one, good price but, always a but, then we figured we
would/should buy a new truck too and that was the kicker...we backed out. you got an excellent deal IMO.

We really like ours but be careful with the frameless windows. Don't be too aggressive opening them the first time

Thanks for the early replies...I should clarify that it'd a jay feather not the White Hawk model.

@Jamaddox - do they stick? Tight seals?

No what hennaed to mine was that after we opened it the little rollers that hold the bottom of the window in came off the track. The dealer had to replace the entire window (probably because the glass fell out). One of the other posts this was talked about in speculated that the window might be stuck to the seal and if you are too aggressive opening it that may happen. Their advice was to open slowly and not try to force it open if it was stuck.

I don't know if they changed for 2015 but I don't have any frame less windows.

You are going to love that model. We have the 2013 23m. Great layout and love the versatility of Murphy bed

Isn't the 23 MBH a White Hawk?

Guess they make the same floor plan in both white hawk and Jay feather series.

They don't offer a 23MBH in the Jay Feather line but do in the Jay Flight line up. Guessing it's a Jay Flight.

Congrats on the new trailer and enjoy.

Congratulations on the new trailer and welcome to The Forum! Looks like a nice rig that will bring your family many years of enjoyment. As far a being a "good deal" or not, only you can decide that. If it meets your family's needs/wants, you're happy with "the deal", and you can afford it, then it's a good deal for you!

Enjoy! and Happy Camping!

We have the White Hawk 23MBH. Been living in it semi full time since May. Wife is a contract nurse. We have no complaints at all.

We have the 2015 White Hawk 23MBH. It is our first travel trailer but we did months of heavy shopping so we have a pretty good idea of what is out there. We have been out three times so far and absolutely love it. Not sure what the differences are between White Hawk and Jayflight, but we have wanted for nothing in this trailer. Great floor plan for this family of 4 and have had no quality issues so far.

The only surprise we have had is our 5 year old somehow managing to fall out of the top bunk during his sleep despite having his head in the boxed end. He'll be sleeping on the dinette for a while until we figure out a way to prevent him from falling out without making it difficult for him to climb in.

We also found the window screens obstruct the view too much to be worth it so we took them out. Made the trailer look even better.

We bought the 2013 jayco jayfeather 23m which has an identical layout to the whitehawk 23mbh. Jayco no longer produces the 23m in the jayfeather line. There is also a jayflight 23mbh that is very similar to the whitehawk. The price that you have been quoted sounds really good! Good luck.
