As for the universal remote I thought about that but with it controlling the radio as well I figured it might not work?

Ask your dealer's service manager. Ours was missing when we picked it up. I noticed during the PDI. The tech said "Oh! I bet it's in a drawer somewhere". We looked in all the drawers. Then he said "Oh well, I'll be right back" and brought one from somewhere in the shop. It worked fine, and I'm sure he had a box of them somewhere... It's worth a try anyway, you never know unless you ask, and asking is free.

On topic. I've never had any trouble with our Jensen head unit. It does what we need it to do. If it ever dies, I'll replace it with a DVD player and probably a cheap head unit for a car. I'm no audiophile, and DW couldn't care less as long as it works. The thing that drives me crazy is having two remotes; if I were confident a universal remote could control BOTH the Jensen head unit AND the Continuus TV, I'd consider buying it.

Sending it out Troy-- I hope it works. It's funny, the only reason I didn't throw out the remote when I tossed the player was that I couldn't find it. LOL and I found it the day I read this post. That's good fortune.
