HOPEFULLY, they will be better built and last longer then the China tires do/did.

I would like to be able to purchase American-made products, but it's just not happening in most Fields. However, when manufacturers order products to be made in China, they send specs. If they request crap, they get crap. Of course, some may just ask for bids and accept whatever they get. But with lawsuits as common as they are I would imagine most tire manufacturers set up the specifications to be bid on.

Sounds like Jayco and other manufacturers have been monitoring online forums. My guess is that the new Goodyear Endurance tires will be a cheaper economy grade tire, even if American made. Otherwise Jayco wouldn't have made the deal with them. Just my humble opinion.

I am expecting my new set of Maxxis tires to arrive early next week - Only had my trailer since late June but don't want to push my luck. I might have waited if I had known about this...

Do you really beleive that Made in USA or Made in Canada products are a whole lot better then what comes from overseas ? Ok economically its better, but the products itself ? I dont think so if I take for example , my TT, and my Lazboy furniture .... But Im all in to keep our job on this side of the ocean for sure :-)

Or maybe Jayco and Goodyear have some inside information that the feds are going to ban the Chinese junk from reaching our shores for use on our roads?

That would be a good thing in my book.

You will not find a better tire than Maxxis anywhere on this planet.

The problem with tires stems from making purchase decisions on price alone at the expense of specification and reputation.

I did as much research as possible before deciding on Maxxis. There are 2 components on any vehicle where price is the last factor I consider. Tires and Brakes...

The Endurance tires may be in short supply for a while if Jayco is using them on anything but toy haulers. I have not seen any thing yet from Goodyear about which sizes will be available.

I'm in the process of ordering a White Hawk and my Jayco factory rep said Goodyears are going to start being installed on the WH line in January. All WH orders placed now won't hit production until March so hopefully those are the tires I get. On a side note for those considering ordering a WH 28DSBH, the rep said they are getting full exterior LED lighting in January too!

And I currently run Maxxis on our Tracer and would much rather have those on the new Jayco, but I'm hoping the American Goodyears will be better than the China bombs...

Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co. is the ninth largest tire company in the world. Established in 1967, in Yuanlin, Taiwan, by Luo Jye. Maxxis is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheng Shin.
Cheng Shin's other six plants—including two opened in the past 18 months—are in central China.

Yep, my Maxxis aren't made in America, but I can tell you from first hand experience, they are a great tire. I was just looking at my wife's 20 year old bicycle the other day and noticed it too had Maxxis tires on it. Darn things look almost new! Maxxis just makes good tires!

Just did a quick search and can not find any information on Endurance tires for rims less than 19.5's. Anybody got any information sources?

I've reached out to Jayco regarding the launch date of this new tire on the Seismics that we are considering and I'm getting zero response whatsoever. They announce, but then seemingly know nothing. What tremendous customer service.
