Another Newbie DUH Question

We have the movable table that lowers for transport. How do we lower the table? In our former trailer, the table strapped down.

This is the picture of the table in a 2018 White Hawk 30RD

Welcome to the forum Tom.

If you post your model of trailer or add it and your tow vehicle to your signature, somebody with a similar model may be able to give you specific advice.

On our Eagle 28BHBE the dinette table has two aluminum posts that push into the table and cup type holes in the floor. No release, you just pull straight up to remove and push down with the posts lined-up to reinstall.

Hope this helps,

Pull the table out

Pull the table out. You should see the release on the back of the legs to fold them up.

I have the same table, took a couple times to get hang of it.

There is a yellow spring loaded slide on right hand side.
While holding slide in release position, have 2nd person on opposite side push table top towards the side with the release. About 1/2 way closed, the table then zizags back in opposite direction and it folds all the way down.

Thank You Mccbob for Responding

Mccbob,

I cannot find a release. Could you describe what it looks like?

Thanks,
TomR

It's on the right hand side on the side of the leg.
It doesn't move much, but you push it to the side. Kind of a lever catch rotating on a center pin.
While holding this open, push on table from opposite side as described.
Pretty much takes 2 people, one on either side. Each person should hold their foot on bottom cross feet.

Push and pull, it will move. Once you see how it works it gets easier.
Still takes 2 people after being out for 3 trips now.

Not the best design :-)

Thank You Doug

We just returned from a maiden voyage. To be registered, the trailer had to go the BMV for inspection.

Your instructions were right on the money. Thank you very much for the help.

Good deal. It's a different design for sure.
