Antenna Handle

I was wondering have any other Jayco owners had problem with the handle and spring popping off of the antenna inside the trailer. There is a small allen wrench
that it tightens on with but my still comes off rather easy after a few turns. It's kind of flemsy.

I had that problem on my Winnebago class A. Most of the RVs have the same Wineguard antenna and the handles are prone to coming loose and falling off. Easy enough to put back together. You could try some Loctite on the set screw.

I had that happen on my 154BH Jayco last weekend scared the wife into thinking she broke it. put it back on and tightened it up and it hasn't been a problem since.

I try to tighten. I keep an allen wrench inside the cabinet just for this purpose.

Happened to me the first time this season. Maybe the plastic threads for your set screw are sloppy and it's time for a new handle....they are $5 on Amazon or you can call your dealer and see if they will replace it under warranty. Remember to lube the antenna gears so there is less resistance when you crank up the antenna.
