Antenna leaking despite efforts and question about slideout wiper

Hello JOF friends:
I wanted to reach out to you to get some help on a couple of issues I am having with my 2009 RLS308. I have had leaks in my antenna since I purchased the unit (used) last year. The antenna boot looks fine. I am pretty sure the leak is where the gear shaft is, because that is how the water gets into the RV(I have witnessed this firsthand). I recently replaced the shaft, as I realized the original shaft did not have the washers that come with the shaft originally. I figured this would fix the issue, but it did not. I am very anal about my RV, and this is very frustrating. I hate to take it to the dealer, because I want to conquer this on my own. 2nd question: The vertical wiper that goes down the side of the slide is beginning to pull apart at the bottom of the slide. How do you re-secure it to the RV? If I don't do something about it, it will eventually tear it.
Thanks in advance for your responses. From my limited time on the forum, I am impressed with the knowledge base that is here.

Shane, if you search slideout wiper you will find a discussion on replacement of that seal in tech talk.

I cleaned up the wiper/rubber and fiberglass with thinner and applied spray adhesive to the rubber stuck it to the wall let the glue set up a minute then closed the slide on it. Just make sure you don't get any adhesive on the other side of the rubber that contacts the slide!
