Since this older thread seems to have been recently resurrected, I think I'll add my 2 cents worth . . . sort of an update to my earlier posts after a year of ownership and 7-1/2 months of "full-timing" in it.
Problems - not much (other than the things I've caused, myself):
1) Wire from the electronic ignition to the high-output burner on my stove has a break in it. E.I. on the other two burners works fine. One of these days, I'll have to send an E-mail to Jayco requesting a replacement wire. Until then, I'll just continue lighting that burner with a long-nosed grill lighter. No big deal.
2) The center post on the RCA jack for the video input (from DVD player into the television) broke off a couple of months ago. Couldn't watch a DVD for a couple of days. Hooked up my laptop to the HDMI 1 input on the TV and was able to watch them through the disc drive in the laptop. Actually found the picture quality to be better than through the DVD player. Got tired of the extra cable hanging down, so I eventually bought a new "high quality" RCA cable. Tried to pull it through the wall (from the DVD player to the TV) using the existing cable, but the existing cable is evidently stapled to a stud somewhere and wouldn't budge. There's an access hole in the floor of the cubby above my DVD player, so I was able to run the new cord from the TV through that hole and into the back of the Jenson unit. That works for now, but will probably have the selling dealer run the cable through the wall as a warranty repair when I return to Michigan in another month or so. I couldn't be happier that these are the worst problems I've had with it in the first year of ownership!
Plusses: 1) Love the full 7' interior ceiling height. It makes the interior seem so much roomier. Also gives me more head room in the shower.
2) Since I added the second (left side) friction sway bar, It tracks and tows very nicely behind the F150 Eco-boost TV.
3) Love the floor plan! Plenty of clothes storage space, adequate kitchen countertop space, comfortable seating, and plenty of floor space for the dog and me. Even enough room for entertaining two additional people. (3 or more makes it a little tight).
All of the analysis of my needs/wants, the 2 years of on line research, visits to the dealership, and studying of brochures, as well as the careful planning have really paid off. I love my Eagle 266 RKS, and love the "Full-time" RV lifestyle.

Just about to pick up an Eagle 321 RLDS!
First time Jayco owner - we've had a Motorhome and several TTs by Keystone and Forest River. From our research we hear that nothing beats the quality of the Jayco (like no STAPLES!)
Wish us luck!

We have a 2013 284BHS we enjoy it very much and for the few things that had to be fixed I did or Jayco has stood behind their product. Will still look at a Jayco when we decide on a 5th wheel.

I have a 2010 25.6 RKS Eagle, Love it, with the slide out it could be a dance floor.
The only thing wrong, Lying on the floor to get the valves turned underneath the kitchen sink for winterizing getting inside the cupboard

Spent Saturday at the Colorado Springs RV show with friends and was impressed with the large number of units on display. Unfortunately, Jayco wasn't represented except for their MH line carried by the local CW dealer. While we walked through a lot of trailers, we didn't see anything that we liked nearly as much as our Eagle. I guess it will have to put up with us for at least another season!

2016 Eagle 284BHBE shows up this week. I'm excited, and a bit anxious about half the folks say these things are a load of trouble, the other half say they're excellent...
This will be my first trailer (rented a much less ambitious one a few years ago, lived in it for 6 weeks with the family and loved it).
Wish me luck.

2014 Eagle 266RKS
We love our 2014 266RKS Eagle. Has plenty of inside storage and closet space.
We did reverse the panty doors to open the opposite way and this allowed us to converted the panty shelves to sliding shelves. My wife loves the sliding shelves.

I don't own an Eagle, but I read the thread anyways.
If your stove is anything like mine, you can pull the grill that supports the pots (friction fit) and then the drip pan (spring clips). You'll see the wires for the igniters.
Find the broken one and splice it together. Or re-insert or realign the spark gap.
Hope this saves you a trip to the dealer. Clicking the BBQ lighter is just such a pain too.

This is a great RV, ordered it new 2011 320RLDS, kitchen solid wood table cracked but replaced under 2 year, rims all pealed, replaced under 2 year, the current issue is the sofa the cushions are flatted down because there part of the sofa they are non removable so this will be a winter project tearing apart to insert new ones inside. The recliners are not flat at all and get most of the use. We use it 6 weeks a year. But all in all it has been a fantastic unit we really enjoy it. I have ungraded the bedroom mattress and upgraded the backsplash to a mosaic glass and converted all lighting to LED. We have looked at the new pinnacle it is very nice but don't care for the new bedroom slide its so tight to make the bed.

The recliners are not flat at all and get most of the use.Again, we bought new for the house and put the old ones in the Eagle.

We have looked at the new pinnacle it is very nice but don't care for the new bedroom slide its so tight to make the bed. That's a huge problem with so many RVs.

The floor plan is perfect for us and it's making it hard to find a new one. Guess we'll just have to keep our money!
