Atwood Furnace - X213 - 'Pop/backfire' when furnace starts

Hi, Camped this weekend in Summit County Co, night 1-4 of 5 when the furnace would kick on, the fan would blow for about for 5 seconds and then the propane kicks in (I assume this is when the propane actually gets lit), the warm air starts blowing...all good.

Night 5, the fan blew as usual for ~5 seconds, but then, when the propane got lit, instead of a whoosh of warm air, it was a pop (like a little explosion, my wife described it as someone slamming the door) and then warm air blew. (NOTE: furnace seemed to work fine/blew hot air after the violent startup)

Kind of concerning, and after a google search I'm starting with the easiest fixes and working backward...wondering if a fresh propane tank and topped off batteries (as well as clearing out any wasp nests/blockages in the exhaust) will be the simple fix. (will check that as soon as I park the trailer, just got home).

Local dealer says they can look at it in Sept, and i'm heading to yellowstone/idaho in 1.5 weeks so i'm going to have to go it myself

Does anyone have advice, similar experiences?

Update - All good now, here's what I did, not sure if it was one or a combination, hopefully it helps someone else:

1) Plugged in power to my house
2) Hit the 'Reset' switch on furnace
3) Compressed air in furnace and on circuit board
4) New, full propane bottle

Anyway, it works like a champ now.

By compressed air you mean to dry off those parts? Not sure I understand the issue so wanted to ask a clarifying question.

X2 on #3. You can check the burner flame. Ensure it is a nice blue color. Adjustment is easy. You might have had some blockage that the compressed air cleared.

I used the compressed air to blow out any nests/dust that might have gathered in the furnace or circuit board. Nothing would have been wet AFAIK.
