Atwood wedgewood range piezo

So I have a question regarding the range in my new Jay flight 38FDDS.
I haven't done my PDI yet, so I don't have any of the accompanying appliance literature yet. The rig is equipped with an Atwood Wedgewood range with piezo ignition. I'm not sure if it's the 17" or the 21".

Is the oven on these things electronic ignition too? Or is it just the cooktop burners?

Unless they have changed them the oven pilot light has to be lit with a match or lighter, at least that is the case with mine. My burners have the piezo as shown in the pic.

Thanks Crabman, that's what thought. I don't think we ever used the oven in the Sunnybrook. I'm definitely interested in getting an oem bifold cooktop cover. I'll have to wait until I get in there again to see what size range it is.

21'' rings a bell but not for sure. I installed the Camco bifold cover at the wife`s request and she likes it.

Very nice! The wife is all in on anything that expands counter space!

The oven is pilot lit. I have seen mods that added a electronic ignition.

Our range came with the bifold cover.

We don't use ours enough to install it. It's lit just like the old fashioned gas ovens were.

Electronic ignition is only on the cooktop burners. To use the oven, you need a match etc. to light the oven pilot light.

No range cover with our range.

We made one using a translucent cutting board from Goodwill ($1) and epoxied 3 shortened wine bottle corks to it. The corks are spaced to fit between the stove grate openings.

The cover can also be set on the table or counter top as a place for hot pans etc. Of course, when necessary, it can also be used as a cutting board.
