awning clamps?

Do you folks use awning clamps on these new fangled power awnings? I had a set on my old trailer with a manual awning and it did help cut down on the flapping in the wind.

They don't seem to work on my power awning because the mechanism is different than the old manual system (wish I had the old system )

Thanks. Good point.. I hadn't even thought if they'd fit or not.

I think the good ol' fashioned "strap over the top" style would keep the flapping to a minimum, unless you have the high wind automatic roll up feature. Then it would end poorly.

The Colorado Carefree on my Jay Feather 23RLSW has no place to put them - the extending arms literally are not anywhere near where they would need to be in order to install the de-flappers.
