Bathroom Vent.....Attic fan

We only have one vent in our 23 MBH, and that is in the bathroom. I was wondering if it would still work like an attic fan (pull cool air from outside) even though it's in the bathroom. We would plan on upgrading to a Fantastic/Maxxair type vent fan. I also want to get the Fantastic Ultra Breeze vent cover.

Before I spend the money, just want to make sure it will work decent. Thanks in advance.

I like to use the bath fan in MH too but the airflow would have been too little the way it was designed. I cut a couple of inches off the bottom of my door to accommodate the extra air flow on a Maxxair fan.

I had a Fantastic Fan installed in the bathroom as a replacement for the standard small bathroom vent. The bathroom door has a 2" gap but the fan moves so much air, the door will start to whistle on the high speed setting. I leave the bathroom door open and open the bedroom window, cools the camper down pronto...

Thank you so much. You have convinced me to go ahead and make the change. I will probably just leave the bathroom door open.

Well..........I went out and looked at the vent and it looks like it is in at an angle. Will the Fantastic Vent fit in there right? It looks like the roof is sloped and my vent is on one side, not right down the middle of the Trailer.

Yup, not a problem... You can mount it horizontally, won't bother it one bit...

Yes, it will work. The Jayco shroud (not sure what the Fantastic fan folks call it) has to be removed and the Fantastic fan shroud installed. That means getting on the roof and using a putty knife and heat gun to carefully remove the calking holding the shroud to the roof.

Agreed, I just looked at mine, the interior shroud/well is level with the interior ceiling but the fan motor housing assembly sets at an angle similar to the roof line inside of same. Let's call it a floating component assembly as it were....

Thank you all again for the help. Any suggestion on which Fantastic fan to get. Seems they have several. I don't need the remote, but being able to go in reverse might be useful.
