Bbq swing arm not level

I have the bracket on my rear bumper that pivots at 2 points to allow the bbq to swing out. The hinge points are a little loose which seems to be causing the bbq to sit off level by about 2 inches. I have to use a rock or other non combustible material to prop it up. Does anyone else have this problem?

Mine doesn't sit level either. I have been thinking about machining an adapter to slide over the two posts to shim them and level it out or heating and/or bending them a bit. We haven't used it enough to warrant that level of effort. The main thing we have used it for so far is heating up some ribs that we get which are fully cooked at a local store. For that it doesn't matter. For hot dogs, brats and other stuff where rolling might be an issue, we cook them over the fire. It is a common issue though.

Same here.... I have an idea to make it adjustable I just have to find the time and materials to implement it.

I use mine a lot and made a longer arm and was sure to drill the hole plumb. I feel a lot better getting the grill further away from the camper!

Bbq swing arm not level

Had the same problem when I got mine. I loosened the brackets, put a level on it, and alternated tightening the bolts a little at a time until it was tight and level.
