Beat the cabin fever

Took a chance and de-winterized the TT. Made reservations at an RV resort about 3 hours away. This is the first time out on a real adventure since we bought it except for 1 night 15 miles from home. Intended to leave early Friday morning but had to wait until 2pm so the 40mph gusty winds would hopefully diminish. Finally left and bucked a 25 mph gusty headwind for 3 hours. Needless to say mpg' s weren't stellar. Finally made it, set up and are getting familiar with things. The new Andersen hitch did a magnificent job. Just a very slight and sometimes not even a noticeable movement when the big trucks passed. Everything felt comfortable at 60mph. Looking forward to a few days of R&R and many memories!

We have the Andersen also. Curious about what your tow vehicle is in comparison to your RV. Have done about 4,000 miles but no real wind events. Like that your Andersen handled it well.

Spring and fall camping seasons are great! Less crowding, no bugs, nice to sleep in cool weather.

Have a great time!
