Wife wants me to install pneumatic lift assists for the queen bed. I ordered 100 lbs lifts and overdid it. Does anyone know the lbs of force needed and any other how tos?

We want to do that to our Hummingbird 17 RK. Another problem we had was making the bed. To lift the back corners up to put the mattress cover on, we had to remove the curtain holders at the bottom of the curtain. Think we will just leave them off. I'll prob be sewing full size black out curtains anyways. We made them for our last TT and used tension rods to hold them up. They helped with the morning sun and heat. Lol so many projects when you get a new trailer to get it the way you want.

I just made the same mistakes and ordered new struts. They were 40 lb. They were the same length as the 100 lb. I got them on amazon for around $22.
