Bees nest in the wall behind fridge

Hello,

We have discovered that we have a bees nest in our trailer. We think it is in the wall inbetween the fridge and outside wall. We see the bees gaining access through the vent cover. We have since taken off the vent cover and sealed the area with newspaper in the hopes that the bees will simply die. It has been a wekk though, and we can still hear them buzzing. Due to the fact that we can't see the nest, we are leary to use a product such as foam since its very toxic and we aren't really sure where the next even is. Does anyone know of a product to use in this type of situation? My husband had mentioned something about a smoke product?

Has anyone else experienced bees nests in unaccessible parts of their trailer and how did you deal with it?

No Pest Strip. One in my garage runs wasps out. I'm sure it couldn't hurt to try one.

my father had one in the wall of his home. gregory came out and put a powder in the nest which is suppose to be safe. it takes the wax coating off the bees and they die. don't know if you can purchase product, but they charged him $125 to do his house.

Get a local bee keeper to come get em.they just use a wet/dry shop vacuum to gather them.call a feed store ,county agent,etc or google .bees we need,if wasps that's different.go out there at night and spray their rear ends off.

What about using one of those insect bombs? If you are not going out camping soon I would use the bomb and let it sit for a couple days, then see if they died. Another thing I reccomend is getting some window screening and a hot glue gun and then gluing the screening inside the vents and bumper end caps to prevent bees from getting in there.

If you go the insect bomb route - I would recommend the Raid Fumigator. It is much better about penetrating areas. You put the can in some water and it "smokes". Make sure you remove the batteries from your fire alarm or it will activate. I would have to think that would get them.

On the fridge there is a roof vent as well as a wall vent...

Hi reading your post and so happens I have discovered the same thing same place. Also a 5th wheel. Can I ask how you proceeded with this?
