Black Tank Flush

I have a '02 31FKS TT and was wondering what kind of Black Tank Flush I could use to help clean out the black tank and get more reliable sensor readings.

The bottom of our Jayco is enclosed which means limited access.
Ive been looking at the outlet connectors you hook a water hose to, they seem less intrusive and easy to install, but do they work ?

I have 1 Fresh Tank, 2 Grey Tanks, and 1 Black Tank.
Im hooked to city water, and have a water hose available for outside use.

All tanks lead to "one" outlet.

Thanks !

*watching this thread with interest* Good luck as nothing we have tried helps our sensor read anything other than full. Of course, we have learned to just look down the toilet and base our guestimate also on the days we have used it since the last dump, but it would be nice if that darned sensor worked right!

We use a Valterra Hydroflush , it cost around 20 bucks , it sprays a stream of water into the holding tanks , some gunk will flow out , its clear so you can tell when to stop the water , our trailer is right out of the box , 2010 and I dont think the sensors have been correct since the first day we used it . I agree with Healthi , I look down the toilet to guess how full .

Thanks hammer ! The first one you listed is what I'd like to get, but installing it is over my head. As mentioned we have a enclosed bottom which covers everything.
If I were having it installed I'd definitely go with that one.
I'll call my dealer and see if they could do a on-site install.

I have to admit I've never trusted those sensors nor have I found a system that'll truly work for the life of the trailer. Seems no matter what you do getting a good reading on the tank is tough to do. Before mine start to 'go' I'll be looking at Hammer's suggestion!

Ok, So, this weekend we had a campground neighbor, who has a monster of a TV, pulled out the 31FKS so we could stick some boards under the street side in attempt to help level it. The level was successful, but I also needed to reconnect everything, including sewer. With all tanks closed I removed the cap and was met with a flow of brown water.
ICK !!!!!
Luckily I had the sewer flex line very handy and was able to avoid a total wash out. Seems the trailer pull-out and back-in somehow dislodged the fluid from where-ever.
I think it was the black-tank. I knew I was in for a close-encounter sooner or later. I guess it's not a matter of "if", but "when" !

Just think if it wasn't for RVing you would miss all of this.

Luckily this sewer experience was hid from view, and few campers were around on Sunday afternoon. So no live footage or cameras were present.

Now that I've got the PVC line installed I am hoping these type of encounters will be fewer, and far between !

It wasn't pretty !!!
