Black tank flush systems? Does anyone have or recommend?

Another thread has peaked my curiousity in how many people have or had some sort of black tank flush system. I have issues with the sensors and I am a little apprehensive about putting a permanent hole in black and or gray tank. All opinions are welcomed and thank you in advance

Thats the same unit the dealer was trying to sell me. I have heard though the head comes off sometimes inside the black tank? Curious to see if any memebers have it and use it. As I also am thinking about doing this to my camper come spring. The sensor thing just annoys the heck out of me

Nice. I see we both have Titans. Love mine so far. I have the 2009 CC with long bed Pro-4X with big tow package.

I had Jayco install a black tank flush when they were building my TT.

This is the one I installed http://www.easternmarineoutlet.com/Q...Flusher-40123/ in our JayFlight 22FB, it was easy to install and took about 45 mins. Just follow the instructions and drill the right size hole. This unit doesn't have the spinning nozzle that can come off.

Black tank flush by another name... it sprays a circulating jet stream all over the tank really blasts the crud off the sensors.

I have had Tornado tank flushers on both of my Jaycos, and if I got another I would install a Tornado on it too.

With the flusher and a clear section of pipe hooked between the TT and the stinky slinky you can be sure when all of the crap (pun intended) is out of there

A jet spray nozzle mounted inside the tank. It sprays water in every direction and because of the design it "flops" around inside some so the same area is not the only place it hits... works very well supposedly.

Hmmm... Looking at the plumbing and tank layout I got I would have to mount 3 different kits to 2 grey water tanks and 1 black water tank because the kitchen tank is in the rear of the coach and long was from the dump.

As for my old Dodge Jamboree I use to load up the tank half way with just clear water take a short drive and slosh it around with a few hard brake hits and run arond a few corners then come back and dump.

Never owned a flushing wand, installed tank washers, or used a flushing coupler...

But the one time I drop the tanks down to reapir the tank straps... I hate to say but both tanks were spotless...

Smile tank flushers

I put a tornado on my last 2 campers. I like them. Never had any problems. I've never heard of the head coming off. I have heard some stop spinning. However, they sell different models that are not meant to spin. So, I guess it would still work. The flush king didn't seem worth it to me. Sending water backward through the tank can be accomplished with the rinse hose. Whatever you decide, be sure to check ebay and amazon. They are much cheaper.

That was my thought as well, but was curious to see if anyone had used the other system. I may crawl under my trailer this weekend when we have it out to see how hard it would be to install a tornado. I have the enclosed underbelly, so I assume I'll have to remove some panels at the very least just to get to the tank.

The Tornado power washes the gunk off the sensor buttons... back flushing will not always do that...
