Helllo fellow Jayco owners, we are new jayco owners as well as new campers all together. we own a 33 RLDS . We are having a problem where by our big window shade (not day/night shade, we have only one blind) cannot be pulled down shade at all, we've tried loosening the string on both sides but nothing. Hello Caravan Nan and welcome to Jayco Owners Forum. I can't help you with your question but I am sure someone else here that has had the same problem will be able to give you some assistance. Don't forget to go to the New Members Forum and tell all of us a little about yourself. We're glad to have you with us.

If your blinds are like my blinds, the strings do not move at all. Maybe you have been pulling on the strings? Try pulling on the bottom of the blind itself.

Our large window shade (the one at the dining table) has a similar problem.
It is very difficult to get down. Here's what we've found: You need to grab it with two hands, one at either side of the window, and pull down with equal pressure on each side. This is very difficult to do, because you are straddling the dining table to do so. We usually have the spouse on one side and me on the other. It is a pain, but it works this way.
