If the water heater is on electric and wanting to run at the same time a 30 amp breaker will trip.

Are you referring to YOUR main breaker or the the pedestal breaker?

If you are tripping the pedestal breaker and the A/C and microwave is all that is in use the pedestal breaker is likely weak.

Take a good inventory of exactly what was running. Low battery pulling a lot from the converter? Outside outlet have a fry pan connected? Large fan outside? Just things to look for.

Water heater on electric. Trips main 30 amp breaker in trailer. Don't know if water heater was on or not.

AC plus any other high draw appliance has the potential to trip the 30 amp every time. Also, what does your plug look like? Are the prongs crisp and clean or do they show signs of any blackening? A loose pedestal receptacle will cause arcing and excessive wear in the plug and can also contribute to tripping a breaker, usually at the pedestal itself though. Something to look at anyway. Others much more knowledgeable than I will certainly jump in and help out as well.
