broken tag bracket-suggestions?

I have a 1992 300BH. The tag mount is part of the left tail light. The plastic has gotten brittle and broken. Any ideas on how to repair it? Alternate way to display tag? I'm doubtful the part is available. Thanks.

The license plate mount is molded into the taillight frame. I just bought a set of direct replacement LED taillights for $45 on ebay. Made by the same manufacture Command Electronics.

Same mounting holes. Just a thought if you are up to spending that amount of money compared to the standard lights.

Those plate brackets can break off from flexing at the top. I was camped once and a guy swore someone stole his plate from the trailer. It looked like it just broke off on the highway somewhere.

+1 I did this as a mod for the added visibility during the day. Much brighter.

I just have screwed mine to a piece of angle iron that is bolted to the support for the rear bumper. I think all 3 campers we have owned had those tabs broken. I have either done like on the currect camper or just bolted directly to the rear bumper.
