Bunk Bed Ladder

Looking at a bunkhouse model trailer. Does anyone know where the best place to buy/order a bunk ladder is? Kids are still small and will need a ladder. Thanks!

Dont know if you'll be able to follow this link or not. I found it in the "outside your rv" section. But the picture definately shows it being used inside. Good luck!

The attachment that JAMMFAM listed from Camping World is the exact one I purchased for my bunks. I went to Home Depot and obtained a couple straps and a piece of hardwood where I designed & constructed a landing for the hardware that came with the ladder. I stained the wood the same color as the bunks were and cut the legs of the ladder (easy job because it is aluminum) so it would stand straight up, saving space in the bunkroom. Works perfect, looks good and keeps the grandkids from performing acrobatics to reach the upper tier of bunks.

Be sure and get one with flat steps. Round steps can be hard on the feet.

I have the same as in JAMMFAMs link. I worked it into the deal when I purchased our X213. We like it because my daughter can get up into the bunk and then we can store it away so my little guy (19 months old) doesn't climb up after her. I had to cut it down a bit to get the proper angle, but that was pretty easy to do.

Our first trailer was a bunk model. The kids loved it. My daughter would dangle things over the side to irritate her brother. The ladder was expensive so I made my own out of wood that I had. It worked well for years and sold it with the trailer when I traded it in on the Jayco.

Couldn't find one cheap or small enough to fit in the 23k, so built one. $15.00 and an hour's worth of labour...turned out pretty good!

when I was a kid, my parents had purchased two travel trailers on site in Vermont. Camping on the Battenkill...anyway, one trailer was a Globestar. It had a Bunk and a ladder that had pegs on the outside of the ladder. and once I was in Bed, the ladder could be taken and put side ways along side the bunk and the pegs would fit into holes at the edge of the matteress. It made a railing that would prevent young ones (me) from falling out. I thought that was a great idea and often wonder why these bunkhouse units dont come with ladders....

I don't say this to too many people , but that's a nice looking ladder.
