Camping Etiquette

I stumbled across this short video about camping etiquette which I thought was excellent and perhaps you might be interested in watching it.

Then I thought, everyone here in the forum I'm sure is a courteous and considerate camper, which is like "preaching to the choir".

Anyway, here's the link. Enjoy!

I wish I had seen the part at the end where he says "calmly and politely educate people" last year! I was waiting my turn at the dump station last year and struck up a conversation with the guy dumping. He asked if I minded helping him back out, he had a huge motor home with a tow vehicle. I was clearly next in line but as I helped him I guy scooped in and started getting ready to dump. I walked up and informed him of the line of people waiting to dump. Without even looking up he says "I don't take long" and turned his back to me. I still have anxiety thinking about it. Some people!!

That's when you pull out your pocket knife and put a nice slash into his sewer hose as the black tank is dumping.

Some ways of enforcing camping dedicate is Distributing a handful of thumb tacks scattered around your site quickly detures further loud, rude and obnoxious folks from walking through your site.

I know you cannot do it but people like that deserve to have a bucketful of your black water tossed at them

You must have been camping in the Lower 48. In two ventures into Canda, I never encountered a rude Canadian. We will be happy to ship you some if needed.

I guess the video is helpful to those who really need warning signs on the stove telling them it's hot. Otherwise, foreign firewood aside, it's pretty much common sense.
